Holiday Decor for your Central Florida Pool

You’ve decked out your home inside and out with garland, lights, inflatable snowmen and Santa hats galore... but don’t forget the pool! This year, get creative and turn your backyard pool into a winter wonderland.

Inside the pool itself, there are a number of ways you can decorate. Pick up some holiday-themed inflatables (we’ve seen blow-up ornaments, Christmas trees and more) and let them float during the day and night. It might also be the perfect time to add floating lights to your pool—globes of red, green and white will look especially seasonal during your holiday pool parties and get-togethers.

Don’t limit yourself to the water—carry your decor theme around the pool, in your backyard and on your patio. Wrap colorful strings of lights around any plants, shrubs or trees surrounding your pool. If you don’t have any natural support for lights, you can always opt for the traditional “tiki” style poles and add garland or ribbons to them to give some holiday flair.

If your backyard oasis is lacking natural green space, you might be interested in artificial, prelit palm trees. These decorations are traditionally symbols of Florida tropical plant life, but they can also give your pool the holiday look it deserves.

This holiday season, get in the pool and enjoy some time with the family… and do it all amidst a sparkling winter landscape!
